Potiphar confides in Joseph to work superbly and care for his inclinations. Joseph is such a skilled supervisor, that Potiphar benefits increasingly more from Josephs nearness. As the Bible puts it, ...from the time that he had made him administrator in his home, and over all that he had, that the Lord favored the Egyptians house for Josephs purpose; and the gift of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field (Gen. 39:5).
